Gary Payton is a cross of the Y with Snowman. It is a hybrid strain known for high concentrations of beta-caryophyllene which lends a peppery chai spice note. It contains some CBG and CBGa which contributes to the overall energizing and physically soothing strain effect.
All of our flower is packed in Calyx Jars. These jars have a silicone O-ring that prevents air exposure, protects the terpenes and allows you to continue to cure the THCA Flower at home.

The Gary Payton strain was invented by Powerzzzup Genetics in collaboration with Cookies.
Goofiez is bred by crossing the Y strain (also known as Y Griega) with the Snowman strain. The Y possesses a classic sativa profile — buzzy, energizing, and brain boosting, with a stimulating dose of psychoactivity. It carries haze genetics and is also known for having some CBG. It lends a soothing but non-sedating effect to the Gary Payton strain. The Snowman strain is a hybrid strain which is a cross from Girl Scout Cookies. Once you know this, it’s easy to recognize the peppery chai spice flavor that comes from the high concentrations of beta-caryophyllene in the parent and child strain.
What Makes PhytoFamily Farms Flower Unique?
Our Indoor Flower is grown under high-intensity LED lighting. These lights produce the full spectrum of light and stimulate the plant to produce large amounts of resin full of terpenes. We feed our plants only organic nutrients, so the plant has all the building blocks to produce those terpenes and other volatile organic chemicals that we love. Flushed for 14 days before harvest with calcium and sugars to give a clean smoke and maximize flavor. PhytoFamily Farms Flower is grown with a connoisseur smoker in mind.
How We Cure Our Flower
We dry all our flowers in a climate-controlled room. Our team then hand-trims all the nugs. After we trim the buds by hand, we put them in mason jars. We open the jars several times a day for the first 1-2 weeks and then once a day for 2-4 weeks. During the curing process of each strain, we use Sensor Push HTP.xw sensors to control temperature and humidity. We cure all our THCA Flowers for at least 30 days before listing them on our site.
